چکیده

To what extent do the characteristic features of a chemical reaction network reflect its purpose and function? In general, one argues that correlations between specific features and specific functions are the key to understanding a complex structure. However, specific features may sometimes be neutral and uncorrelated with any system-specific purpose, function or causal chain. Such neutral features are caused by chance and randomness. Here we compare two classes of chemical networks: one that has been subjected to biological evolution (the chemical reaction network of metabolism in living cells) and one that has not (the atmospheric planetary chemical reaction networks). Their degree distributions are shown to share the very same neutral system-independent features. The shape of the broad distributions is to a large extent controlled by a single parameter, the network size. From this perspective, there is little difference between atmospheric and metabolic networks; they are just different sizes of the same random assembling network. In other words, the shape of the degree distribution is a neutral characteristic feature and has no functional or evolutionary implications in itself; it is not a matter of life and death. Kinetic Mechanism Reduction Using Genetic Algorithms, Case Study on H2/O2 Reaction

For large and complex reacting systems, computational efficiency becomes a critical issue in process simulation, optimization and model-based control. Mechanism simplification is often a necessity to improve computational speed. We present a novel approach to simplification of reaction networks that formulates the model reduction problem as an optimization problem and solves it using geneti...

The Comparison of Multi-variable Linear Regression and Artificial Neutral Networks in Tax Evasion of Legal Persons in Iranian Tax System

Tax evasion is one of the most important problems of tax system in the most countries around the world. It covers any unlawful attempt to avoid paying taxes. In present study, the affective factors on tax evasion based on experts’ views were extracted by using Delphi method, so we identified 29 factors and finally 16 factors were extracted based on measurement ability among them. The statistica...

On the Mathematical Structure of Balanced Chemical Reaction Networks Governed by Mass Action Kinetics

Motivated by recent progress on the interplay between graph theory, dynamics, and systems theory, we revisit the analysis of chemical reaction networks described by mass action kinetics. For reaction networks possessing a thermodynamic equilibrium we derive a compact formulation exhibiting at the same time the structure of the complex graph and the stoichiometry of the network, and which admits...

Identifiability of Chemical Reaction Networks

We consider the dynamics of chemical reaction networks under the assumption of mass-action kinetics. We show that there exist reaction networks R for which the reaction rate constants are not uniquely identifiable, even if we are given complete information on the dynamics of concentrations for all chemical species of R. Also, we show that there exist reaction networks R1 6= R2 such that their d...

Synthesis, Identification and Calculation of Complex Crystallographic Structure of Cobalt (II) with theLigand Heterocyclic Derived from Pyridine

A novel Pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid mixed ligands complex of formula [Co(NO3)2].6H2O has been obtained by the reaction of Pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid with cobalt nitrate and 1,10-phenanthroline on heating in water. The structures of [Co(pydc)(Phen)(H2O)](pydcH2).4H2O receptors, and their complexes were optimized using DFT method at the B3LYP/3-21G** level. The highest occupied molecular o...
